National Historical Park-Vermont's first National Park focuses
on the history and evolution of conservation
stewardship in America. A 20-mile network of
footpaths and carriage roads meanders
through one of the oldest managed woodlands

Pentangle Council on
the Arts-Non-profit arts
council presents music, theater, dance and
family events in the Woodstock Town Hall Theatre,
a 400-seat historic theater. First-run movies
are shown on a full-size movie screen with
surround sound. The intimate little Theater,
a 150-seat performance space, located in an
old mill building on the Ottauquechee is host
to Pentangle's Coffee House Concerts and to
the New Woolhouse Players, a community theater
company. Pentangle also provides arts-ineducation
programs to ten area schools through artist

Vermont Institute of
Natural Science and Raptor Center-Nonprofit, state-wide environmental
research and educational resource center and
natural history library on 78-acre nature preserve.
Selfguided nature trails, bird banding,
lectures and trips. Home of the Vermont Raptor
Center, a living museum and rehabilitation

Woodstock Historical Society-1807 Dana House,
furnishings 1740-1900, photographs, dolls,
toys, costumes. Oral histories, changing exhibits

Dana Research library has an extensive collection
of state and local history, maps and diaries,
fine and decorative arts, business ledgers,
